On June 29th, 2021, our second book Curbing Traffic: The Human Case for Fewer Cars in our Lives will be published by Island Press. It argues for an end to auto-dependency and supremacy, through the lenses of equity, well-being, and social cohesion.
While we’d love to gather in-person to mark the occasion, current circumstances present obvious limitations—but also new opportunities. So to toast the arrival of our latest creation, we’re inviting you to join us for a virtual drink on our front stoep in Delft. Starting at 20:00 CEST, the hour-long digital launch will include a short presentation, pub quiz, and opportunity to ask questions over your favourite beverage. Please fill out the form below if you’d like to participate, and we’ll email a Zoom link closer to the date.
In the meantime, the book is available for pre-order from Island Press (use promo code "BRUNTLETT" for 20% off) in North America, Marston Books (use promo code "ISCT" for 30% off) in the EU, and independent booksellers worldwide. See you on the 29th!
